Remarks | In Ngeremlengui, wii inhabit the lagoon. According to fishers, they form spawning aggregations and move to shallow water on the fringing and inner barrier reef flats. Here, they are caught during the day with kesokes nets and spears. Spawning aggregations occur mainly from November through May around the full moon but fishers say it may also occur around the new moon (Ref. 2928). Also Ref. 10494, 100789. |
