Anmärkningar Schooling species which are concentrated on the outer part of the continental shelf . Feeds mainly on fish (herring, anchovies, lantern fishes), also on mysids, cephalopods, euphausiids and amphipods. Migrates southward in spring and summer and northward in winter.
