Remarks Found on rocky bottoms among algae (Ref. 4698). Benthic (Ref. 58426). Feeds on small benthic amphipods (Ref. 4698). It is preyed upon by black guillemot. Parasite of the species is known to be a copepod (Haemobaphes cyclopterina) found on gills (Ref. 5951).
