Remarks Adults are pelagic in oceanic waters. Juveniles found beneath jellyfish (Ref. 9563). Rare species. Macroplankton eaters (Ref. 10675). Performs seasonal migrations (Ref. 10675). Migrate to forage on the continental slope of South Island, New Zealand (Ref. 10675).
