Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 50 - 100 m
Distribution:  Indian Ocean: Arabian Sea, Mozambique, South Africa (KwaZulu-Natal); elsewhere to Bay of Bengal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occasionally collected by trawls in coastal waters (Ref. 127963).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 15 August 2023 Ref. (130435)
