Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: upper Lékoni-Djouya and upper M'passa drainage systems, southeastern Gabon.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in brooks in the savanna of the Bateke highland (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
IUCN Red List Status: Vulnerable (VU); Date assessed: 16 February 2009 (B1ab(iii); D2) Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
