Biology: | Inhabits sheltered fresh and brackish water tanks, small streams and rivulets overgrown with vegetation (Ref. 41236). Valuable for mosquito control (Ref. 6028). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139). | |||
