Max. size:  12.4 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Lake Manguao, northern Palawan, Philippines.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 4-4; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-8; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 5-5. Preserved color brownish yellow, dusky above, paler below; nape with a dark spot. Dorsal profile with hump on nape; snout broad and rounded. 9-10 scales from nape to dorsal; 2.5-3 scales between ventral origin and lateral line.
