This species is distinguished from its congeners in having the following characters: 22 pectoral fin rays, probably 5 caudal fin rays; 45 median vertebrae; the gill opening reaching the base of the first pectoral fin ray; opercular flap extending behind the pectoral base; head 25.2% SL, pre anal 37.8%; dark peritoneum (Ref. 75876). | |||
