Max. size:  5.78 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 90 - 130 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: the Philippines.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 13-13; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-12; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 11-12; Vertebrae: 25-25. This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following characters: D XIII,10-12; A II,11-12; pectoral-fin rays 18; procurrent caudal-fin rays 3; tubed lateral-line scales 16; gill rakers 7 + 16-19 (= 23-26); body depth 1.9-2.0 in SL. Colour of adults when fresh yellowish with dark black margins on dorsal and anal fins (Ref. 120230).
