More abundant in waters of greater current velocity. Always swims near a grass or undergrowth refuge over muddy or sand bottoms. Eats aquatic insects (Ref. 36880). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139). | |||
