Biology: | Inhabits margins of spring-fed marsh pools; most common away from vegetation (Ref. 5723). Feeds on diatoms, amphipods, and ostracods (Ref. 79012). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139). | |||
