Max. size:  7.7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: Upper Nueces River drainage in Texas, USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults inhabit rocky pools, sometimes runs, of headwaters, creeks, and small rivers. They are usually found among filamentous algae (Ref. 86798). Migratory behaviour is undetermined (Ref. 126106).
