| Biology: | Found in streams and rivers during floods, in floodwater pools during dry season; probably two breeding seasons coinciding with rains; floodwater pools and shallow pools in lake-side streams are spawning grounds (Ref. 104796). Feeds on debris, algae, higher plant material, insects and other organisms (Ref. 12523). | |||
