Similar to Formosania fasciolata but differs from this species by the following characters: length of the longest rostral barbel is equal to the eye diameter; presence of 2 bright spots behind the sides of the dorsal fin; absence of spot on all fins; and naked area in abdomen extends to ventral fin base (Ref. 86816). | |||
