| Biology: | Occurs in swamps, sloughs, pools, and backwaters of sluggish creeks and small to medium rivers. Usually found near vegetation (Ref. 5723). Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139). | |||
