Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
Max. size:  12 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; brackish
Distribution:  Western Pacific: known only from the tidal zone in the Mekong delta. Probably also occurs in Cambodia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in medium to large-sized rivers of the lower Mekong (Ref. 12975). Feeds on small fishes and crustaceans. Marketed fresh (Ref. 12693).
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 10 August 2010 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
