Diagnosis: |
Vertebrae: 124-130. Description: Characterized by whitish color with 35-39 pairs of irregular dorsoventral spots; densely spotted head and upper part of body; larger spots dorsally; body depth at gill opening 20-25 in TL; origin of dorsal fin above or anterior to gill opening; anus anterior to middle of body; preanal length 2.2-2.3 in TL; single row of teeth on side of upper jaw, small conical teeth posteriorly with inner row of 2-3 canines; about six canines on each side of front of upper jaw; medial row of three canines (Ref. 90102). |
