Scales only on lateral line and caudal region; head long, greatest body depth behind head region; branchiostegals 14; pectoral fin short not reaching dorsal fin; pectoral fin short and not reaching anal vent; dorsal fin origin just posterior to vertical with pelvic fin base; caudal fin deeply forked; iris of eye peacock blue; both jaws with strong canine teeth, none on vomer; when fresh white (Ref. 106147). | |||
