Max. size:  5.4 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: streams riacho Três Morros and córrego das Piabas, small tributaries of upper rio de Contas drainage in Bahia, Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Feeds on larvae and adults of Trichoptera, adult of Diptera, fragments of unidentified arthropods, large amount of filamentous algae, and organic debris (Ref. 83965).
