Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: presently known only from immediately downriver of Khone Falls, Mekong basin, Laos.
Diagnosis:  Pectoral fin with 13 simple and 11 branched rays; pectoral fin with 5 simple and 11 branched rays; distance between bases of last pelvic-fin rays 3.3 times in body width at pelvic-fin origin (Ref. 36949).
