| Biology: | Inhabits rocky pools amongst dense clumps of submerged water weeds and dead branches (Ref. 2906, 44894). Presumably the species has a high tolerance to increased salinity levels and water temperatures, which typically occur in the habitat during drought periods (Ref. 44894). Males with slightly pronounced hump on forehead (Ref. 5259). | |||
