Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 2-2. Firm head, not inflated with sensory canals lacking pores. Dorsally scaleless snout extend to lateral nasal angles but not onto the forehead. Orbit diameter about 26% of head length; snout slightly longer than orbit; interorbital about equal to the orbit; upper jaw 40-43% HL; short barbel, about 7% HL. 1D II,10 (Ref. 11651). | |||
