| Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 2-2. Firm, non-inflated head, its sensory canals with enlarged pores. Dorsally scaleless snout extend onto forehead as 2 projections lateral to median rostral ridge. Orbit diameter 37-43% of head length; snout about 1/2-3/4 orbit, about 1.1-1.3 into broad interorbital width; upper jaw 40-41% HL; barbel 16-19% HL.
