Family:  Liparidae (Snailfishes)
Max. size:  11.4 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 0 - 183 m
Distribution:  North Pacific: southeastern Kamchatka to Commander and Aleutian islands, Pribilof Islands, southeastern Bering Sea to Oregon, USA.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 35-37; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 29-31. Caudal bluntly rounded. Pectorals with a rounded upper lobe and a lower lobe with exserted rays lying outside the upper lobe.
Biology:  Occurs from near shore (also in tide pools) to 183 m depth (Ref. 2850, 51661).
