| Biology: | Found in shallow coastal areas with algae or Zostera sp. Some specimens have been recorded from tide pools. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205). Males may brood at 6.9 cm SL. | |||
