Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Japan.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 0-0; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 0-0; Vertebrae: 49-50. Lacks dorsal- and anal-fin pterygiophores; pelvic fin girdle only ossified posteriorly (Ref. 42963). Caudal fin rounded posteriorly (Ref. 42963).
