Distribution:  Africa: lower Congo River rapids (Ref. 42510, 84205, 94498) and the middle Congo River, Lomami and Wagenia Falls (Ref. 106245) in Democratic Republic of the Congo. Also in the Ubangi in Central African Republic (Ref. 84205).
Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 78-78
Biology:  Found in rapids (Ref. 6060).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 16 February 2009 Ref. (130435)
