Distribution:  South America: Magdalena and Atrato River basins in Colombia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Max. length (Charles W. Olaya-Nieto, pers. comm., 2002). Distinct pairs breed on densely grown weedy places (Ref. 205).
IUCN Red List Status: Vulnerable (VU); Date assessed: 07 October 2014 (A2d) Ref. (130435)
