Max. size:  5.2 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Myanmar.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-13; Anal soft rays: 8-8. This species is characterized by the following: irregular blotches or bars 8; body with vertically elongated blotches, and with mottled middorsal area on the back; with a deep median notch in the upper lip; caudal-peduncle length 11.6 % SL; predorsal length 53.4 % SL (Ref. 132199).
Biology:  Found in a shallow lake, with dense bottom and floating vegetation (Ref. 39226).
