Diagnosis: |
Dorsal spines (total): 11-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 14-16; Anal spines: 4-4; Anal soft rays: 12-12. Description: Characterized by pinkish silver body scales with red margins; opercular membrane mainly black to level of lower edge of pupil; outer part of spinous dorsal fin broadly bright red; outer half of elevated anterior part of soft dorsal and anal fins bright red; anterior edges of soft dorsal, anal, caudal and pelvic fins white; broad submarginal zone of red in caudal and pelvic fins; lower two-thirds of axil of pectoral fins with small scales; relatively narrow and deeply concave interorbital space; body depth 2.3-2.4 in SL (Ref. 90102). |
