Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: upper Via-St. Paul and upper St. John river drainages in eastern upper Guinea and northern Liberia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in brooks and small streams, mainly in the weedy parts, in the forested savanna (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
