Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: Dan River (Roanoke River drainage) and Peedee River drainages in Virginia and North Carolina, USA.

Biology:  Inhabits rocky flowing pools of clear headwaters, creeks and small rivers.
