Diagnosis: |
Dorsal spines (total): 15-17; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-9; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 4-6; Vertebrae: 27-29. Spines on lateral surface of the lachrymal present but none on the lateral surface of the first suborbital bone (Ref. 41496). Dorsal fin membranes not incised; second and third spines not especially elongate relative to the succeeding ones. Third infraorbital bone with a lump on lateral face. Minute stubby papillae covering premaxillary and anterior part of lower jaw (Ref. 35987). |
