Environment:  benthopelagic; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: southern Australia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 52-55; Dorsal soft rays (total): 1-1; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 38-41. Remarks: pectorals tiny, less length than eye diameter.
Biology:  Found within weed litter at the base and amongst roots of seagrass.
