Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: southern China.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal soft rays: 12-12; Vertebrae: 40-42. Modally 19 scales around caudal peduncle; modally 8 scales above lateral line; 4-5 scales below lateral line; and 19-21 predorsal scales (Ref. 95038).
