| Diagnosis: | Vertebrae: 39-40. A member of the Oreoglanis delacouri species group with lower lip lacking a median notch and with prominent projections along the posterior margin as well as a lunate caudal fin with extended principal rays. Differs from its congeners of the O. delacouri species group in having a short caudal peduncle (15.6-17.3% SL) and very long nasal barbels (35.4-41.7% HL); deep caudal peduncle (4.2-4.9% SL) and more vertebrate (39-40) (Ref. 55772). Description: Dorsal fin with first element not ossified and with i,6 rays; pectoral fin with first element thickened but not ossified and with i,15,i or i,17 rays; pelvic fin with i,5 rays; anal fin with ii,4 rays (Ref. 55772). | |||
