Many inhabit brackish waters, found in rivers of low elevation, up to 15 m above seal level. Feed on detritus, algae and sometimes on terrestrial insects (Ref. 36880). 35 cm max TL (Ref. 2059). Not a seasonal killifish. Has been bred in captivity (Ref. 41756). |
