Dorsal soft rays (total): 107-107; Anal soft rays: 92-92; Vertebrae: 114-114. This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following combination of characters: long predorsal length (26.5% SL); lateral-line configuration ventral and mediolateral, the latter originating above end of pectoral fin; vertebrae 29 + 85 = 114; no pelvic fin; no scales on abdomen and predorsal area; first dorsal-fin pterygiophore associated with vertebra 8; colour light brown (Ref. 75765). |
