| Diagnosis: | Dorsal soft rays (total): 90-90; Anal soft rays: 68-69; Vertebrae: 92-92. This species is distinguished by the following set of characters: vertebrae 24 + 68 = 92; no pelvic fins; ventral lateral line originating immediately behind posteriormost postorbital pore; nape and cheeks with scales; branchiostegal rays 6-7; gill slit extending ventrally to half pectoral base height or slightly lower (Ref. 92871). | |||
