Max. size:  7.7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Khasi and Garo Hills of Meghalaya, India.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 34-36; Anal soft rays: 34-36; Vertebrae: 66-66. Unpaired fins continuous (Ref. 37790).
Biology:  Occurs in areas of the stream where water is moving very slow. Spends most of its time lying at the bottom, either buried in mud or clinging to some submerged vegetation along the edges of the streams.
