Family:  Anthiadidae (Fairy basslets or Streamer basses)
Max. size:  3.2 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 46 - 64 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Seychelles.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 10-10; Dorsal soft rays (total): 14-14; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 6-7. Pectoral fin rays not branched. Branched caudal rays 13. Lateral line incomplete, ending beneath soft portion of dorsal fin. Diagonal rows of scales on cheek 6; maxilla scaled; top of head scaled to nostrils. Ventral margin of preopercle with one antrorse spine; dorsal margin with 14-19 coarse serrae. Caudal fin rounded (Ref. 10670).
