Fish could be nearly white ventrally (including caudal peduncle and tail) and brown only on upper side, or otherwise overall brown, scale margins dark, spot white on caudal peduncle. Biology: | Adults inhabit inshore and offshore coral reefs (Ref. 7247). Oviparous, distinct pairing during breeding (Ref. 205). Eggs are demersal and adhere to the substrate (Ref. 205). Males guard and aerate the eggs (Ref. 205). | |||
