Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: northeast coast of Venezuela.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 19-21; Dorsal soft rays (total): 15-16; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 21-23
Biology:  Found on shallow, sandy bottoms and usually associated with bivalve mollusks and its empty shells.
