Diagnosis: |
Dorsal soft rays (total): 37-37; Anal soft rays: 33-33; Vertebrae: 43-43. Coronal pore present. Lower pectoral fin rays longer and thicker than upper lobe rays. Gill rakers unmodified. Coracoid half-moon shaped, helve absent. Mouth short, almost vertical, about 75° to horizontal. Skin pale, head beneath skin unpigmented (Ref. 43481). |
