| Diagnosis: | Diagnostic characters include the following: snout obtusely rounded; mandibular structure without central concave; anus not covered by pelvic fins; caudal fin obliquely emarginated; body and head dark brown with paler spots; 25-26 branched pectoral fin rays; 19-22 branched pelvic fin rays; and 75-85 lateral line scales (Ref. 95066). | |||
