Family:  Pseudochromidae (Dottybacks), subfamily: Pseudoplesiopinae
Max. size:  2.56 cm SL (male/unsexed); 3.1 cm SL (female)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 30 - 113 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 1-1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 28-29; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 17-17. Description: Characterized by pale greyish pink to pale yellow body color; presence of broad whitish bar from nape to posterior edge of eye in between brownish or red bands; presence of whitish stripe midorsally from forehead to snout; extremely long and filamentous white pelvic fins; single lateral-line scale; greatest depth of body 24.2-25.3 in SL (Ref. 90102).
Biology:  A cryptic species; occurs at the edge of the reef adjacent to sand. Also found in sandy fringe of coral reefs, common around low rock outcrops in 30-70 m (Ref 90102).
