Description: Characterized by having two color varieties: pale yellow with pinkish head and base of dorsal and anal fins with blue flecks or overall brown with pink to reddish head; single lateral-line scale; greatest depth of body 21.3-28.2 % of SL (Ref. 90102). |
Found in rock and coral reef habitats, including surge channels, reef slopes and drop-offs (Ref. 50540). Cryptic and seldom seen (Ref 90102). |
