| Diagnosis: | Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal soft rays: 9-9. Diagnosed from all congeners by the following combination of characters: reticulated pattern on the middle of the flank; small diamond-shaped spot at the base of the caudal fin; and complete lateral line (Ref. 74344). Description: dorsal fin with 2 simple and 7 or 7 ½ branched rays; anal fin with 3 simple and 5 ½ branched rays. Lateral line with perforating 25-26 +1-2 scales (Ref. 74344). | |||
