| Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-16; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 13-16. No spine above eye (Ref. 13628). | |||
| Biology: | Diurnal depths from 750 m, migrating to 100 m at night. Feeds on amphipod and crustacean remains (Ref. 6716). | |||
